MATRADE

On March 1, 1993 MATRADE is located in Rotterdam. MATRADE was established by the Malaysian Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI) to promote and support the Malaysian and the Dutch entrepreneur to import and export goods and services between the Netherlands and Malaysia.

MATRADE is responsible for the promotion, development and support of the Malaysian import and export to the Netherlands. MATRADE designs and implements marketing strategies, organizes promotional activities in the Netherlands and Malaysia to facilitate the trade between the Netherlands and Malaysia

Malaysia is an important trading partner for the Netherlands. In 2013, the Netherlands imported goods and services worth € 5,291.4 million from Malaysia, while the Dutch export to Malaysia represented a value of € 818.8 million.
